Current Series

Lectionary

Not all of our messages belong to a larger sermon series. Most often, our standalone sermons come directly from the Revised Common Lectionary — the calendar of Scripture readings followed by churches around the world every Sunday. They may not carry a series title, but they certainly are not random. Each one is rooted in the ancient, global practice of letting Scripture set the agenda.

The Temple

Our Lenten Series for 2026 examines every biblical era of the Temple in Jerusalem, culminating in the shocking moment when Jesus announces that his own body has replaced the Temple and that we, too, are a Temple—the place where heaven and earth meet.

Authentic Intelligence

This series is on the nature of wisdom and how the Bible instills the wisdom we need to live faithfully amid complexity and change. Rather than responding with fear, this series offers a hopeful and empowering vision for navigating our technological age with steadiness and grace.

Holding Christmas Together

Inspired by the paradox-rich imagery of Charles Wesley's songs, this a series for anyone who feels the weight, tension, or emotional overload that often accompanies the holiday season. God holds together what we can’t. And in the Incarnation—God becoming flesh—we discover the greatest news: that God holds us.

Fully Iconic

Idols demand our worship and draw our hope away from God. Icons, however, point beyond themselves—acting as signposts that guide us closer to Christ. This series looks at iconic Christians of yesterday and today whose lives exemplify what the Apostle Paul said: “Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice.” (Philippians 4:9)

Grow The Promise

This series digs into the book of Deuteronomy and the moment of generational transition for the people of Israel. Throughout the book, Moses seeks to secure promises from the Israelites that they will continue to observe and teach all they have learned from God. This series also introduces our vision for 2026 and the six new priorities God will use to accomplish that vision.

The Cross

There are two equal and opposite mistakes we can make in our theologies of the cross. Either it becomes a tool of spiritual abuse, or we ignore it completely, replacing faith with "the power of positive thinking." There is a better way; if we are willing to stay near The Cross, we discover it accomplished far more than most of us have ever heard about.

The Jesus Campaign

"The Jesus Campaign" is a transformative worship series designed to reframe how we see Jesus’ ministry. As we re-visit “the opening salvo,” “the coalition,” the “stump speech,” and “the room where it happens,” we see how God’s kingdom differs from (and is resisted by) the kingdoms of this world.

God Still Speaks

This essential series is about how to practice discernment, that is how to interpret the call and will of God. We can be proud rather than embarrassed to bring difficult conversations before God, because we believe we will receive a word that will change our world. And above all, we can have a living faith that talks to and about God in the present tense, because we believe that God Still Speaks.

As If The Heart Matters

In this series from our 2024 Discipleship Campaign, our pastors covered the essentials of "The Scripture Way of Salvation." This series is for anyone who has ever wondered what salvation means, or why grace matters.

Faithful in Five Challenge

This sermon introduces the five essential spiritual practices that form us in Christ''s image. These are not things we do to try and earn God's favor or attention; they are ways to discover what God is already doing, to become more aware of His presence in our everyday lives.
